Sam Crimmins

Sam has been tutoring high-school students since graduating with an ATAR of 99.70 and a HSC mark of 96 in English Advanced. She is privy to various learning methods and exam techniques. Sam is currently studying Commerce (Liberal Studies) at the University of Sydney and is majoring in Finance and Economics.

Seb Galetto

Sebastian graduated with an ATAR of 99.30. Having mentored throughout high school and at University, Sebastian brings with him extensive practice with students of varying levels and a passion for pushing students to achieve their personal best. Sebastian is currently at the University of Sydney studying a Bachelor of Arts/Law.

Oscar Pursey

Oscar achieved strong academic results at high school, graduating with an ATAR of 99.55 as well as his school’s subject prize for Modern History, Ancient History and Creative Writing. Oscar’s academic results and tutoring experience allow him to help his students structure and express their thoughts clearly.

Liv Battcock

Liv graduated from high school with an ATAR of 98.3. She comes from a regional area and is keen to help others from rural and remote areas have better access and encouragement to pursue tertiary education opportunities. Liv is studying a combined Bachelor of Science and Laws at the University of Sydney.

Nick Hudson

Nick is a third year student undergoing a combined Bachelor of Commerce and Advanced Studies at the University of Sydney. Having achieved an ATAR of 98.70 with a Band 6 in all his subjects, he understands the necessary steps and techniques that allow students to perform at their very best. With a country background himself, he joined Profecta so he may be able to assist rural students in achieving their academic goals.

Emily Graetz

Emily is passionate about all things education. Having completed her HSC in a regional area herself, she joined Profecta to support students in underfunded and under resourced areas. She has worked as an academic tutor for more than 7 years and is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney.

Jake Slaytor (co-founder)

Jake has extensive experience tutoring and mentoring since graduating high school with an ATAR of 99.70. He is able to provide excellent insight and advice on revision techniques and study skills. He is currently studying a combined Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Laws at the University of Sydney.

Nicholas Trotter

Nick has a breadth of tutoring experience across multiple subjects. After graduating high school with an ATAR of 97.95 he has worked for multiple tutoring companies with students of all ages. . He is studying a Bachelor of Engineering Honours (Mechatronic) and Commerce.

Henry Higgins (co-founder)

Henry graduated with an ATAR of 99.85 and achieved two State Ranks in English Advanced and Modern History. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the HSC curriculum. Currently, Henry is studying a combined degree of Arts and Laws at the University of Sydney.

Elizabeth Noonan

Elizabeth graduated in 2019 with an ATAR of 95.25, successfully fulfilling her goal for the year. With a background as a rural girl, now attending the University of Sydney to study a Bachelor of Arts/Advanced Studies (Media and Communications), she understands the experience of being a regional student. This motivated her to become a Profecta mentor, in order to help other students with similar experiences to hers. She can provide guidance and insight into studying and essay writing techniques, especially when it comes to editing work. She’s always happy to help, wherever possible.

Mack Perry

Mack has comprehensive experience mentoring and tutoring since graduating high school. He brings knowledge and experience in study skills, time and workload management, and planning/attacking long-term goals. He joined Profecta for the opportunity to be a part of the investment in rural and regional secondary education. He is currently studying a dual degree in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney. Mack likes to write and play guitar in his spare time.
